Our menu varies according to seasonal produce, the following is indicative of our cusine. Special diets can be catered for with advanced notice.

Starters

Slow roasted and glazed local pork belly, crushed peas and crackling salad

Wellington of local wood pigeon, wilted greens and woodland mushroom juices

Tempura of summer vegetables, chilli and bean shoot salad, sesame and soy dipping sauce

Crispy Doreen's black pudding, sage risotto, apple and vanilla puree, Yorkshire cider reduction

Lowna goats cheese and asparagus tarte tatin, dressed watercress, lemon oil

Mains

Pan roasted breast of mallard, a little crispy duck quiche, orange salad and citrus reduction

Pan seared "Seamer fayre" best end rack chops, warm potato cake, creamed curly kale, seared devilled lambs kidney and pan juices

Pan roasted fillet of local beef, seared tomato, portabella mushroom, hand cut fat chips and choice of sauce (cracked black pepper, red wine, Yorkshire blue cream or green peppercorn butter)

Open ravioli of confit cherry tomatoes, baby courgette, oregano cream and aubergine caviar

Braised local rabbit, sauteed woodland mushrooms, crispy fried shallots and grain mustard cream

Seared breast of local grouse, mini game 'cottage pie', oven roasted leg, parsnip champ and star anise meat juices
